XRechnung FATAL

Eine Rechnung (INVOICE) muss Angaben zu "PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS" (BG-16) enthalten.

What this error means

XRechnung requires the invoice to carry payment instructions (BG-16) - German public buyers must always be told how the amount will be settled.

How to fix it

  1. Add cac:PaymentMeans with at least a payment means code (BT-81), e.g. 30 for credit transfer.
  2. For credit transfers include the IBAN (BT-84).
  3. This is stricter than EN 16931, where payment instructions are optional.
